Genesee Valley Conservancy and Livingston County Cooperative Extension are happy to bring you the Genesee Valley Landowner Workshop. The program provides an opportunity to learn land management strategies that will assist in reaching your land ownership goals and to help landowners of all sizes deepen their relationship with their lands. 

The theme for this year's event is "Trees, Please!"

The workshops include:

  • Woodland Thinning for Health & Productivity - Peter Smallidge, Extension Forester, Cornell University
  • Planting One Tree is Easy. What About Many? Tips for Success & Funding Opportunities - Steven E. Schiano & Steven D. Schiano, S.E Schiano Logging
  • The Effects of Ash Mortality & White-Tailed Deer Abundance on Forest Regeneration: How You Can Help - Brian Hoven, Professor of Biology, SUNY Geneseo | Jonathan Rosenthall & Dr. Radka Wildova, Ecological Research Institute
  • Mobile Tools for Forest Management - Tad Norton, Forester, NYSDEC

Cost: $30/person. Lunch is provided.
